Service Restored at 5:17 PM on 10/20/2025: Canvas and Canvas Studio services have been restored and are being monitored for stability. Canvas status is available at https://status.instructure.com/. Post-outage instructions for Canvas instructors can be found in OIT News.

Service Issue Updated at 2:23 PM on 10/20/2025: Canvas and other campus services are still unavailable due to the AWS outage. AWS status can be viewed at https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status. Suggestions for instructors for during and after the outage can be found in OIT News. 

Service Issue Updated at 10:53 AM on 10/20/2025: The WEPA app and kiosks are also affected by this outage, causing them to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect. 
WebAssign is also affected and may give "503 error" which may be resolved by reloading the page.

Service Issue Reported at 10:21 AM on 10/20/2025: Multiple campus services are experiencing performance issues due to the AWS outage, including Canvas, Canvas Studio, iClicker, and Qualtrics.
