Open your Canvas course in a Chrome browser. Click Assignments on the left course navigation, then click +Assignment on the upper right corner of the screen to create a new assignment.

Give the Assignment a unique Title. (Recommendation: The name should refer to the PlayPosit bulb you want to assign.) Assign Points, set the Assignment Group and Display Grade to reflect your syllabus.

Change the Assignment Submission Type to External Tool. Click the Find button to open the list of available tools.
Step 4
Scroll down and click PlayPosit then choose Select.
Step 5
The PlayPosit Setup window will display. Click the Set Bulb Link button.
Step 6
Find the PlayPosit bulb you want to use. Click the Canvas logo to Set bulb link.
Step 7
A pop up menu will open. On the Select Learner Experience dropdown, choose Self-Paced. Click Link to connect the bulb to the link.
Step 8
The Configure External Tools dialog box will display again. Ensure PlayPosit LTI 1.3 Tool (assignment selection) is selected, then click Select.
Step 9
Review and update the Assign to, Due date, and availability settings. Click Save & Publish.
Step 10
Open the PlayPosit Monitor to see to see analytics on your in-video quiz through the PlayPosit Setup screen.
*Note: Instructors will not see a grade item created until at least one student completes the bulb.
