CU Secure Wi-Fi - Register Your Android Device

Step 1

  • If your device is connected to the internet: Continue to Step 2.
     
  • If your device isn't connected to the internet and you're in an active Wi-Fi pilot building: Use eduroam or CU Guest to complete this process.

Step 2

Using Google Chrome (preferred), go to wifi.colorado.edu, then click the Install the CU Secure Certificate button.

Step 3

Confirm that your operating system was identified correctly. If it wasn't, use the Select your device drop-down to change it.

Step 4

Confirm the source drop-down is set to Google Play Store, then click Download.

Step 5

You should be directed to the SecureW2 JoinNow app page. Click Install.

Step 6

Once the app is installed, click Open.

Step 7

On the Microsoft login page, enter your IdentiKeyUsername​@colorado.edu, then click Next.

Step 8

Enter your IdentiKey password, then click Sign in.

Step 9

In your browser, click Continue to return to the app.

Step 11

Read the instructions, then click Next.

Step 12

In the pop-up window, click Save ("Save this network?") or Allow ("Allow suggested Wi-Fi networks?").

Step 13

You'll receive confirmation that your device is now registered on CU Secure. You can close the app.

Step 14

CU Secure should now appear in your device's saved Wi-Fi networks.
